# Pelican Marsh vs Ravinia

The clearest difference is rating: Ravinia at 4.6 against Pelican Marsh's 3.7. Ravinia also leads on ratings volume (6.3K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Pelican Marsh's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ravinia holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ravinia has 6.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pelican Marsh ships an update every 2 months, Ravinia every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
