# Virtual Voice Coach vs Singing Lessons

Virtual Voice Coach and Singing Lessons both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Virtual Voice Coach's written reviews are positive against 69% of Singing Lessons's. Singing Lessons's advantage is ratings volume (194 vs 7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virtual Voice Coach sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Singing Lessons sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Virtual Voice Coach against 4.4 for Singing Lessons. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Singing Lessons has 194 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Virtual Voice Coach's written reviews are positive against 69% of Singing Lessons's.

Virtual Voice Coach ships an update every 5 weeks, Singing Lessons fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
