# LockMe vs Smart Daddy

The clearest difference is rating: LockMe at 4.6 against Smart Daddy's 3.0. LockMe also leads on ratings volume (229 vs 2). Smart Daddy's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockMe sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Smart Daddy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockMe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LockMe has 229 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LockMe ships an update every 3 weeks, Smart Daddy every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
