# SSAT VerbalPro vs CMP Exam by Rocket Prep 2026

The clearest difference is rating: CMP Exam by Rocket Prep 2026 at 5.0 against SSAT VerbalPro's 4.1. SSAT VerbalPro's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SSAT VerbalPro sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and CMP Exam by Rocket Prep 2026 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CMP Exam by Rocket Prep 2026 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SSAT VerbalPro has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
