# MindRush vs Scrolls

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scrolls at none against MindRush's 2. Scrolls also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.0). MindRush's advantage is ratings volume (170 vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindRush sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Scrolls asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MindRush against 5.0 for Scrolls. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MindRush has 170 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

MindRush ships an update every 2 weeks, Scrolls monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
