# Racing Master vs Highway Racer Pro

Racing Master and Highway Racer Pro both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of Racing Master's written reviews are positive against 60% of Highway Racer Pro's. Highway Racer Pro's advantage is ratings volume (83K vs 3.6K) and chart position (#9 vs #46). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Racing Master sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Highway Racer Pro sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Racing Master against 4.7 for Highway Racer Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Highway Racer Pro has 83K ratings behind it against 3.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of Racing Master's written reviews are positive against 60% of Highway Racer Pro's.

Racing Master ships an update monthly, Highway Racer Pro every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
