# RemoTV vs Mi Remote

The clearest difference is ads: Mi Remote at none against RemoTV's shown. Mi Remote also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 19%). RemoTV's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 442) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RemoTV sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Mi Remote sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for RemoTV against 4.5 for Mi Remote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RemoTV has 18K ratings behind it against 442, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 19% of RemoTV's written reviews are positive against 33% of Mi Remote's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
