# Simplified vs Habit Developer

The clearest difference is rating: Habit Developer at 5.0 against Simplified's 4.6. Habit Developer also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Simplified's advantage is ratings volume (187 vs 1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simplified sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Habit Developer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habit Developer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simplified has 187 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Simplified ships an update every 9 days, Habit Developer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
