# Exaphy vs Orbit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Exaphy at none against Orbit's 2. Exaphy also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 1). Orbit's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Exaphy asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Exaphy against 5.0 for Orbit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exaphy has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Exaphy ships an update every 3 weeks, Orbit every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
