# MagicWave vs Whimsy Orb

The clearest difference is ads: MagicWave at none against Whimsy Orb's shown. MagicWave also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicWave sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Whimsy Orb sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
