# StrollMemo vs WillStone

The clearest difference is monetization model: WillStone at free with in-app purchases against StrollMemo's subscription. WillStone also leads on ratings volume (210 vs 1) and review sentiment (75% vs 60%). StrollMemo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StrollMemo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and WillStone sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StrollMemo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WillStone has 210 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of StrollMemo's written reviews are positive against 75% of WillStone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StrollMemo ships an update fortnightly, WillStone every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
