# PhysioScan vs EMS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EMS at none against PhysioScan's 2. EMS also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PhysioScan sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. EMS asks for nothing beyond the download.

PhysioScan ships an update every 2 weeks, EMS daily. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
