# Excellent English vs 高考单词达人

The clearest difference is monetization model: 高考单词达人 at free with in-app purchases against Excellent English's subscription. 高考单词达人 also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Excellent English's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Excellent English sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and 高考单词达人 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Excellent English ships an update every 3 weeks, 高考单词达人 every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
