# Rooms (chat) vs ChatEgg

The clearest difference is rating: ChatEgg at 3.6 against Rooms (chat)'s 1.0. ChatEgg also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Rooms (chat)'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatEgg sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Rooms (chat) asks for nothing beyond the download.
