# Kittap vs Readfly

The clearest difference is ads: Readfly at none against Kittap's shown. Readfly also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). Kittap's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kittap sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Readfly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kittap ships an update every 5 days, Readfly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
