# Bitsboard Flashcards PRO vs PopSpell English Spelling

The clearest difference is price: PopSpell English Spelling at $3.99 against Bitsboard Flashcards PRO's $42.99. PopSpell English Spelling also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 65%). Bitsboard Flashcards PRO's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 17 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Bitsboard Flashcards PRO costs $42.99 and PopSpell English Spelling $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bitsboard Flashcards PRO holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bitsboard Flashcards PRO has 400 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Bitsboard Flashcards PRO's written reviews are positive against 100% of PopSpell English Spelling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
