# IPG vs YACHT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IPG at none against YACHT's 1. IPG also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). YACHT's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 32 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YACHT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. IPG asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPG ships an update every 32 months, YACHT fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
