# MIT vs Stashd

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MIT at none against Stashd's 3. MIT also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Stashd's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stashd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. MIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

MIT ships an update fortnightly, Stashd every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
