# Onyx vs Dolphin

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dolphin at every 5 days against Onyx's every 2 months. Onyx's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Onyx ships an update every 2 months, Dolphin every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
