# MDex vs HouseSwipe

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MDex at none against HouseSwipe's 2. MDex also leads on ratings volume (147 vs 11) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.1). HouseSwipe's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HouseSwipe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MDex asks for nothing beyond the download.

HouseSwipe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MDex has 147 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
