# Flashcards Maker vs Flashcards

The clearest difference is ads: Flashcards at none against Flashcards Maker's shown. Flashcards also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Flashcards Maker's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcards Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Flashcards sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
