# Flashcards Maker vs MemoCards

The clearest difference is rating: Flashcards Maker at 4.5 against MemoCards's 3.8. Flashcards Maker also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (30 vs 4). MemoCards's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcards Maker sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and MemoCards sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashcards Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcards Maker has 30 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flashcards Maker ships an update monthly, MemoCards weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
