# Drone Flight School vs FPV Guidebook

The clearest difference is update cadence: FPV Guidebook at every 3 weeks against Drone Flight School's every 3 months. Drone Flight School's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drone Flight School sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and FPV Guidebook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $11.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drone Flight School ships an update every 3 months, FPV Guidebook every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
