# Swift Alert vs MerchVault

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MerchVault at none against Swift Alert's 12. MerchVault also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 81%). Swift Alert's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (40K vs 8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swift Alert sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. MerchVault asks for nothing beyond the download.

Swift Alert holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swift Alert has 40K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Swift Alert's written reviews are positive against 90% of MerchVault's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swift Alert ships an update every 10 days, MerchVault monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
