# Swift Alert vs Evnt Central

The clearest difference is rating: Swift Alert at 4.9 against Evnt Central's 1.0. Swift Alert also leads on ratings volume (40K vs 1). Evnt Central's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swift Alert sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Evnt Central asks for nothing beyond the download.

Swift Alert holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swift Alert has 40K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Swift Alert's written reviews are positive against 100% of Evnt Central's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swift Alert ships an update every 10 days, Evnt Central fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
