# X vs Scan QR Code Now

The clearest difference is ads: X at none against Scan QR Code Now's shown. X also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). Scan QR Code Now's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Scan QR Code Now sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
