# i vs PMOB

The clearest difference is rating: i at 4.4 against PMOB's 3.6. i also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (247 vs 17). PMOB's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

i holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i has 247 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of i's written reviews are positive against 67% of PMOB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

i ships an update every 2 months, PMOB every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
