# ACTFL Convention vs BooknSwap

The clearest difference is update cadence: BooknSwap at every 3 weeks against ACTFL Convention's every 6 months. ACTFL Convention's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ACTFL Convention ships an update every 6 months, BooknSwap every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
