# Miru vs XPTV

The clearest difference is update cadence: XPTV at every 4 days against Miru's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Miru sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and XPTV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Miru ships an update every 9 days, XPTV every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
