# Oi vs AI Note Taker

Oi and AI Note Taker both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Oi's written reviews are positive against 33% of AI Note Taker's. Oi also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). AI Note Taker's advantage is ratings volume (595 vs 20) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oi sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and AI Note Taker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 595 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Oi's written reviews are positive against 33% of AI Note Taker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Oi ships an update monthly, AI Note Taker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
