# TheMadNote vs Sentinote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sentinote at every 2 days against TheMadNote's every 2 weeks. Sentinote also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TheMadNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Sentinote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TheMadNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Sentinote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
