# UNIT 1 vs ALSO.

The clearest difference is rating: ALSO. at 4.8 against UNIT 1's 2.6. UNIT 1's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and ratings volume (55 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALSO. holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UNIT 1 has 55 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of UNIT 1's written reviews are positive against 0% of ALSO.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
