# NASM vs NIHCertification

The clearest difference is update cadence: NIHCertification at every 2 weeks against NASM's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NASM sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and NIHCertification sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NASM ships an update every 4 months, NIHCertification every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
