# FMR Connect vs Pepperbox TV

FMR Connect and Pepperbox TV both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Pepperbox TV's written reviews are positive against 50% of FMR Connect's. Pepperbox TV also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pepperbox TV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pepperbox TV has 1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
