# Shot Shorts vs Circuits.

The clearest difference is rating: Shot Shorts at 4.5 against Circuits.'s 3.1. Shot Shorts also leads on ratings volume (464 vs 16) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). Circuits.'s advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Shorts sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Circuits. sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shot Shorts holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Shorts has 464 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Shot Shorts's written reviews are positive against 54% of Circuits.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shot Shorts ships an update every 3 weeks, Circuits. fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
