# Text To Speech Talk vs TraceHush

The clearest difference is monetization model: TraceHush at free with in-app purchases against Text To Speech Talk's subscription. TraceHush also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Text To Speech Talk's advantage is ratings volume (247 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text To Speech Talk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and TraceHush sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TraceHush holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text To Speech Talk has 247 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
