# 中医药草 vs 乡间郎中

The clearest difference is update cadence: 乡间郎中 at every 4 days against 中医药草's fortnightly. 中医药草's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 中医药草 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and 乡间郎中 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

中医药草 ships an update fortnightly, 乡间郎中 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
