# Bracketology vs starscore

The clearest difference is rating: starscore at 5.0 against Bracketology's 4.0. starscore also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 73%). Bracketology's advantage is ratings volume (182 vs 9). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bracketology sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and starscore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

starscore holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Bracketology ships an update fortnightly, starscore every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
