# Bracketology vs Castable App

Bracketology and Castable App are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Bracketology sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Castable App sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bracketology ships an update every 2 weeks, Castable App every 8 days. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
