# MeRGBW vs alfolive

The clearest difference is rating: MeRGBW at 2.2 against alfolive's 2.0. MeRGBW also leads on ratings volume (154 vs 21). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MeRGBW holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MeRGBW has 154 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of MeRGBW's written reviews are positive against 17% of alfolive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MeRGBW ships an update monthly, alfolive every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
