# Rubu Player vs CastOn

The clearest difference is rating: CastOn at 4.5 against Rubu Player's 3.0. CastOn also leads on ratings volume (5.5K vs 2) and chart position (#191 vs unranked). Rubu Player's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CastOn sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Rubu Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

CastOn holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CastOn has 5.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
