# KAS Mentor vs eThink

The clearest difference is update cadence: KAS Mentor at every 5 months against eThink's every 12 months. KAS Mentor also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KAS Mentor sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and eThink sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KAS Mentor ships an update every 5 months, eThink every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
