# Topgolf vs FloatNative

The clearest difference is rating: Topgolf at 4.9 against FloatNative's 4.0. Topgolf also leads on ratings volume (92K vs 4) and chart position (#146 vs unranked). FloatNative's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (67% vs 57%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Topgolf holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Topgolf has 92K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Topgolf's written reviews are positive against 67% of FloatNative's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
