# iWidget vs Aura

The clearest difference is monetization model: Aura at free against iWidget's free with in-app purchases. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iWidget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Aura sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iWidget ships an update fortnightly, Aura every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
