# Birdfy vs Birdnee

The clearest difference is rating: Birdnee at 5.0 against Birdfy's 4.1. Birdfy's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birdfy sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.39 per month and Birdnee sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birdnee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birdfy has 3.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Birdfy ships an update every 10 days, Birdnee fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
