# Mylib vs Tylde

The clearest difference is ads: Tylde at none against Mylib's shown. Mylib's advantage is ratings volume (261 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mylib sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Tylde sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tylde holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mylib has 261 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mylib ships an update every 2 weeks, Tylde every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
