# NEX Smart vs TenantCloud

NEX Smart and TenantCloud both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of NEX Smart's written reviews are positive against 27% of TenantCloud's. NEX Smart also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). TenantCloud's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 3) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for NEX Smart against 4.6 for TenantCloud. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TenantCloud has 6.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of NEX Smart's written reviews are positive against 27% of TenantCloud's.

NEX Smart ships an update every 3 weeks, TenantCloud every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
