# Robot Mayhem vs Resova

The clearest difference is update cadence: Robot Mayhem at fortnightly against Resova's every 3 months. Robot Mayhem also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (20 vs 3). Resova's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Robot Mayhem sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Resova sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Robot Mayhem holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Robot Mayhem has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Robot Mayhem's written reviews are positive against 50% of Resova's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Robot Mayhem ships an update fortnightly, Resova every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
