# Receive SMS Plus vs SimCode

The clearest difference is rating: SimCode at 4.7 against Receive SMS Plus's 4.4. SimCode also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Receive SMS Plus's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 208). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Receive SMS Plus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SimCode sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimCode holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4.
