# World clock widget vs Tasks

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tasks at 100% against World clock widget's 44%. Tasks also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1). World clock widget's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. World clock widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Tasks sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tasks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: World clock widget has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of World clock widget's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tasks's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
